Good morning Marianne, I noticed that your ancestry is Swedish. My mother, who I inherited my cooking traits from was born of Swedish parents who loved good Swedish food. Nice to know there are other cooks with the same ancestry. Give me a shout when you have tried my lasagna recipe.

Cheerios, my immigrant grandmother lived with us for many years and did the cooking--at least got it started so Mom could finish it when she got home from work. Whenever I smell fresh cardamom, it automatically takes me back so many years! Smells have a way of doing that!

Oh, and I'll have to find a good time to make the lasagna! I'll let you know. Thanks!
