Good morning! I've been up all night sicker than a dog. Right now, the only food I'm even attempting is a can of Campbells Chicken Noodle soup. Feeling better but am super nauseous weak. Hopefully it'll subside if I can get this soup & a Gatorade down. I'll check in later. Have a great day!

Hope you feel better soon! When DD and SIL had the stomach bug right before Christmas, it took them three days to get on their feet. It is a rough one!

Awwwhhhh, Lisa ~~ take things s-l-o-w, feel better. Not sure if you like ginger ale, but a couple sips at a time helps the stomach, or, suck on/let dissolve peppermint candies also help.

Pita bread pizzas make a great snack or party treat! Cut the pita into triangles and serve them as appetizers, or increase the recipe so everyone can have their own little pizza! Try using pepperoni or other meats in place of the ham.

Green Salad

This is a hearty salad, full of variety. There 's assorted greens, meat or chicken - your choice, veggies, and a bit of garlic and onion powder to add some zip. Choose your favorite dressing and you have a nice, easy salad that 's a meal in itself.

Some type of green salad. I just use whatever I have-carrots, bell pepper, mushrooms, maybe cucumber. Not much actual cooking. I'll be making a few soups for DH to take to work, some quick breads for him to snack on. Haven't decided what yet, although he's already requested the Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread. I might do the Cranberry Orange, too.

Fresh tomatoes, parsley, chives, garlic and basil create this beautiful, tasty dish. Add balsamic vinegar if you like. Serve on toasted French bread with pesto, or enjoy it all by itself.
