Grammom, If you have a food processor you can use it to make bread crumbs. Enjoy!

I use quick-cooking oats instead. It does the same thing bread crumbs do, act as a binder, and is a little healthier :)

My family is picky about meatloaf. This meatloaf from a Bobby Flay Throwdown is great. Just make sure you dice the vegetables small. (Maybe use your food processor.)

I usually use oats in meatloaf. Recently tried quinoa (cooked). Flavor was terrific. But it did not want to hold together as well. Still, I will try again. It was so good.

Hi, i also use oats in my meatloaf, it turnes out perfect everytime, just as sugarnspice said, it is a little heathier and so easy to throw in.

I have a meatloaf recipe that does use fresh bread torn into pieces, works great, I also add grated carrot and grated cheddar cheese, green onions, a beaten egg, a splash of milk, and spices!
