I had no luck with the Slow Cooker Chocolate Cake recipe; both tries ended up with liquid cake batter, even after 4 hours cooking. Should the cooker lid be off during cooking does anyone know?

Lid should be on. Otherwise I don't have any suggestions for you. Sorry.

I made a slow cooker cake before (think its called Ministers delight off this site) Lid was on, it was more of an experiment for me. Not something I will try again!

i have made 2 different ones- one chocolate and one pumpkin(not from this site) i put a tea towel under the lid - per comments- absorbed the moisture- both turned out great:-)
