Making Rum Balls this morning (recipe inside). I am curious to know your ideas on how best to ship them so they won't stick together/get smashed (no pun intended LOL)/etc. Thanks All!

I would use parchment paper between the layers. I don't know how many you plan to pack but I use condy boxes for something like this. Michael's or cake supply stores carry them.

I have made rum balls but never shipped them. A candy box like Marie stated would probably be best. But if I were sending them to my mom, I'd put them in egg cartons. I save egg cartons for mom's friend and in exchange I get farm fresh eggs. Not a very pretty package but mom would get a kick out of the packaging.

That would be very cute especially if you made them egg size. Then wrap easy in parchment to protect them.

If I dug out the Easter box there are a whole bunch of plastic eggs that you fill. I can just see moms face opening an egg carton with plastic eggs filled with goodies. I may have to make her an Easter basket for Christmas!

What first popped into my mind is egg cartons. Second suggestion is to freeze and then use bubble wrap between layers in a deep plastic container. At least they all wont stick together.
