How much salt do I add to unsalted butter to use it in a "salted" butter recipe?

Hey Kay, No PRO here, but I think it depends on what you are making, something sweet, savory, or bread dough?? What recipe are you making? (Most likely it won't make that much of a difference as most recipes have at least a pinch of salt in them anyway).

!/4 tsp is what I use.

That would be 1/4 tsp for 1 cube or 8oz butter, sorry.

I always use unsalted butter even when a recipe says otherwise and never add any. Most AR recipes are submitted by home cooks and typically call for whatever ingredients they are familiar with using.
