lumpygravy is asking: (2 answers)
OT - Asking Santa for a food processor . I would use it mainly for grating , chopping , slicing , and maybe light dough . Two of us here , so not too big , or small for that matter . Don't need alot of bells and whistles to start with . Any suggestions for bowl size , and brand ? Thanks so much ! lump :)

i would go with either cusinart or kitchenaid. kitchenade being my preference. buy more then you think you'll need. save some and shop after xmas or hit some flea markets, moving sales, craigslist, pawn shops. we've had our kicthenaid over 25 years...takes longer to clean then for it do the job. excellent product!

Here is the one I want. You can adjust the slicing thickness from outside controls instead of having to take the thing apart like all others. http://www.shopkitchenaid.com/countertop-appliances-1/food-processors-3/-[KFP1333CU]-401117/KFP1333CU/

I've had my 12 cup Kitchenaid for about 3 years, love it,(came with lots of bells and whistles) but the new one has the the adjustable from the outside slicing which I would love..but the one I have will live forever.....Darn.
