It doesn't matter what size can as long as it has enough for 2/3 CUP of pumpkin in it. I think the smallest they make is a 15 oz can. 8oz to a cup......

ACTUALLY it helps to know WHICH of the two recipes you are talking about BUT in this case both call for 2/3 CUP canned pumpkin. Merry Christmas.

Canned pumpkin in the US is sold by weight NOT by volume. 15oz is a unit of weight.....2/3 of that would be 10 oz (by weight). Good to also know that AR doesn't read this area....you are chatting with other site participants.

The recipe says 2/3 of a cup not 2/3 of a can, we all read something wrong in a recipe now and again.

I don't normally weigh my ingredients out. And the recipes all call for 2/3 of a CUP, not 2/3 of a can. Really doesn't matter what it is sold by, it still needs 2/3 of a cup. A small 15 oz can or a 29 oz can will still give her plenty for one 2/3 cup to make the recipe.
