Looking for ideas for my mom for Christmas. She entertains a lot! She is one of those people who buys what she wants so I am wondering if you guys have heard of any new cooking/hosting/party things she wouldn't already have. Thanks

That's a tough one, Korie. I used to have more company so I was always looking for pretty servers. If you have a Macy's they display a lot more of that stuff this time of year. I got away from anything breakable and leaned toward Armatele. It's durable, can go in fridge or oven. Love my shrimp server - shell shaped with shell sauce dish. I also have a long narrow cracker server and a smaller one for olives...I do use that stuff a lot. Good luck! (The metal also transports well so when I am asked to bring an appetizer I don't worry about it).

It's always nice to get disposable towels for the bathroom and you can get a variety of pretty patterns.

For those towels, Home Goods is great!

Hey, Koriekiss! I don't know what your budget is, but what about a fancy apron of some kind? If you google sequined apron, or apron with rhinestones, several options come up. Amazon has aprons, too. If you sew, it would be extra special if you made the gift.

Does she have oven safe soup bowls? I use mine a ton for parties, I make lots of soups/chilis for football, and have a soup party on Christmas eve. They are so easy to hold, and great for french onion or pastry topped soups :) $4/each @ crate & barrel, I just bought 6 more :)

Another thing I love is my updates lazy susan...great for appys on the coffee table so people don't have to reach. I've also used it for dinner parties, each person gets a wedge of iceburg, and I put salad goodies, dressings on the lazy susan and guests have at it. Fun!

Has she broken anything she loves? Maybe a trip to a Goodwill or an antique store would find her a matching replacement. Love the ideas you've received!

Pier One has some nice things, just saw a set of tasting dishes they have more than one kind, one has the the spoons that you get a Benihana to eat your soup with and nice serving bows and plates.
