Hi Manella, I posted the photo when I made my frittata that only takes 4 eggs and approximately 10 mushrooms sliced. I sauteed the mushrooms in some canola oil and then I added the beaten eggs to the cast iron frying pan and put it in a 350 degree oven for approximately 25 minutes and then added some cheese on top that nicely melted and took it out and cut it into wedges for serving.

Hi Campergramma, I always like to have mine right from the oven when they are still warm. I think the cold frittatas are harder to digest when they are eaten cold. I will work on some good combinations and then post the recipe for you to copy to your recipe box.

Hi campergramma, I would put salmon and tomatoes together with onions and cheese. This was my first time making a frittata so I have to try a few times to see how they come out with different ingredients. I just made some new cookies that I will try and post on my profile if you would like to save them.

Okay, I will try some other ingredients and see how it works for me with some different versions that I can post when I have tried them and they are successful. I might try using smoked salmon which would be good with the eggs do you think.
