Hello everybody anybody by chance know how to make tamales with banana leaf?? I would like to make some for this coming Christmas thank you all so much

This website has a recipe for it. Never made it, but it really is an awesome website/magazine, and every recipe was given by professionals. Everything I've ever made from there has turned out great. Here it is:

Oops, sorry, just realized the recipe I gave you uses corn husks instead of banana leaves. But I don't think it is much different. Here's another one (google search):

Thank you for the effort, but it does have some varations as well in the ingredients I will try it and let you all know how they came up if it is good I will share the recipe thank you!!

Hi, a friend from Belize taught me about using banana leaves to make tamales. They impart a wonderful flavor. Just make your tamales as you wish, then cut the banana leaves in squares to fit the tamale (should be slightly bigger all around). Lay tamale in center of leaf square, place filling on top and use the leaf to fold the tamale, then close leaf over folded tamale and cook. I layer mine in my steamer and steam them for about 20 minutes. They are delicious!
