Or if crackers, then the water cracker types so that the brie isn't overcome with a lot of other flavors. Did you buy a whole round or a slice?

I love brie, but I don't care for wrapping it in dough of any sort. It would be good just heated in the oven with a little apricot jam or pears or something like that. Also, Blazer, there's nothing as good as a grilled brie sandwich with a little pear on it!

My favorites are to cut it in half, top with walnuts & maple syrup, add 2nd layer crust down and more nuts & syrup, cook at 350 for 15 minutes, serve with a bread baguette sliced... You can do the same with sun dried tomatoes chopped or just about anything you like...

Just be sure, if you serve it plain, that you take it from the fridge an hour or two before eating it. It's really good with a slice of apple or pear, too. It should be kind of soft/runny to get the whole flavor of it.

I like brie with french bread. Also, I used to work at a gourmet cheese shop and we would serve with Chambord Preserves on french bread.

This pastry-wrapped soft cheese can be served year 'round. Baked until the cheese melts, this elegant appetizer is topped with dried cranberries, apricot preserves and toasted almonds. Serve with crackers to a grateful crowd.

I've had this while living in Germany. It is really good with cranberries or dried cherries. Water crackers work very well.

This mix of baked brie topped with brown sugar, pecans, and rye whiskey is too good for words.

One of my favorites.I use Congac or Grand Marinier instead of the Rye. YUM! If you serve it plain try Trader Joes Raisin Rosemary Crisps, too die for :) I also love it with baguette or water crackers with crisp sweet red grapes.
