Hi all, I'm looking for something different to make for our office x-mas potluck supper, it would have to be made the night before, can be hot or cold, a side-dish or main course but I need it quick and simple to make :) Thanks!

This is good you can make it the day before and heat it in a slowcooker.

HI Kelly, I gave my friend a recipe for her potluck at work and she won 1st prize out of 30 dishes (I was shocked) This one is really easy, fast and budget friendly. In a large skillet heat 2 tbls. veg. oil season a 3 1/2 lb. pork shoulder roast with garlic salt @ salt free lemon pepper seasoning, brown roast on all sides. Place in a slow cooker. In a bowl mix together 1 (12 oz.) bottle of Heinz chili sauce, 3 packets (1.31 ounces) McCormick sloppy joe mix and 1/2 cup of beef broth, pour over roast. Cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hours. Shred pork and serve on dollar buns. I have made this several times and everyone always likes it. You can make this at night before bed and when you get up for work all you need to do is shred the pork and your done. The only thing I can say is do not buy any other brand of sloppy joe mix other than McCormicks, I made that mistake once and they turned out terrible. Hope this helps, Happy Holidays!

I used the tricolor spiral pasta for this recipe below. It was very good, very filling. I used frozen broccoli & combination of frozen cauliflower and broccoli since most people don't like cauliflower, so there was more broccoli. It was so good and easy too.

You can omit the mustard, garlic and/or the hot sauce (Tabasco) & it still is a good recipe.

Mix cream cheese with picante (I only buy mild Pace),spread lightly onto a flat tortilla, roll up,then slice into pinwheels. It is simple, cheap, store well over night, makes a good amount, and people just love this finger food.

Bruschetta is a traditional Italian item in which small slices of bread are topped with such things as tomato, basil, and mozzarella cheese, as is the case in this delightful recipe.

A tasty lime dressing, with cayenne and garlic added for kick, make this salad a bit different from the usual.
