A rescue group is working with me now that he has been seen by a vet and has all his shots and is noted to not be aggressive. I was able to take him to Petsmart today and he will stay there on display for 2 weeks. Prayers to Saint Gertrude the Patron Saint of cats that he finds the wonderful forever home he deserves.

No Act of Kindness and Love goes unrewarded. We've all been worried about you guys in the path of the weather, and its great to hear how people like yourself do things the right way!

How wonderful of you to help! It is hard to understand what happens to animals in these situations. So sad not to see their families again, but a chance at another is wonderful. Bless you for helping.

Prayers also for finding a loving home for him. Makes you wonder how many animals were affected by Hurricane Sandy and not rescued by someone as caring as you are.

I would like to adopt a beagle mix dog for the grand girl that lives here but don't know if she is ready for the responsibility.

This guy was dumped way before the storm. I happened upon him over the summer, starving, so I made sure he got a meal daily. The week before the storm I noticed he caught an upper respiratory infection and the night the storm was rolling in I was able to get him in a carrier and brought him in. I kept him warm and penned in our garage till I got medical help and him cleaned up that Wednesday. After a week I brought him inside and got him use to being touched and groomed. He's done so well these past 3 weeks and is showing a lot of promise to be a good cat.
