Hello everyone, We have a small group (total of 7) coming for dinner tonight and I am looking for some help. We have about 6 hours to get it done and were looking for something different but not over the top. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, I think this is one of the best features of AR!

ACK! Do you have a main dish planned, or an idea of what you'd like to serve? This is one of the best features ; )

Most recipes using uncooked noodles add water to the sauce first before using it so the noodles will have moisture to cook correctly.

My boyfriend is from Mexico and he whipped this up one night and it turned out great. Beef, onions, garlic and peppers cooked in a delicious salsa verde sauce. Serve with rice, beans and tortillas. You may also add some sour cream to the sauce to make it creamier or add it after as a garnish.

Combine ziti pasta, prepared spaghetti sauce, and three kinds of Italian cheeses for a surprisingly quick and budget-friendly Italian casserole that's easy enough for a week-night meal or a covered-dish supper.

A chuck roast slow-simmered in a beefy broth is delicious when shredded and spooned onto rolls. Carla Kimball of Callaway, Nebraska serves the cooking juices in individual cups for dipping.

Beef short ribs are braised to luscious tenderness during a long, slow cooking in flavorful liquids, like this cherry- and balsamic-vinegar sauce enriched with fennel. A cast iron Dutch oven or heavy enameled pot will be perfect to cook this gourmet dish.

This recipe is INCREDIBLE, but takes a long time to cook--I've served it for Christmas the past 2 years. Amazing, you'll be a superstar if you serve these to anyone.
