Help me out if you know the answer :) I used to click the EDIT button by the reviews to see if I'd made a recipe before or not -- I've reviewed like a thousand at this point or something ridiculous, and I just can't sort through my reviews or the recipe reviews to see if I've made something or not. Well anyway, there isn't an edit feature, so I tested re-rating a recipe and writing a new review, and that worked and I guess it over-wrote my old one. How can you just edit an old review anymore? Do I have to dig through all the reviews to find my old review -- if it exists -- to edit? .....*SIDENOTE I want to thank whoever posted the food recalls, I had a bag of recalled popcorn in my pantry and I'm 34 weeks pregnant and really, you may have saved my life by bringing up the food recalls. Even if it wasn't the peanut butter you were discussing, ladies, you did remind me to go check for all recalls. So thank you.

Hi Jarrie, from what I understand, you can only review/edit your reviews from your own "MyAllrecipes" area at this point, whether it will change will the full implementation of the new format is still a guess at this point! And glad to hear that you saved yourself from the bad popcorn, you want to be careful, but then I think of what Mothers did way back when and wonder that we are all still alive!

You can edit your reviews from your recipe box too. Just click on the stars under My Rating and your review will pop up.

This situation will just have to be changed, Jarrie. I have only a portion of reviews that you do, and there is no way I would even know the names of some of the recipes I reviewed. It will definitely have to change. We are all at a loss there.

BTW, we have asked to be able to search our reviews before. It hasn't happened yet. Keep your fingers crossed!

Thank you ladies. I'll look into this. It's impossible for me to figure out if I've already made a recipe anymore from just looking at the recipe now, and that is going to really make this site a lot less useful to me vs sites where I *can* tell right off the bat. To find things in MyAllrecipes or my recipe box to see if I already made it or not, I'd have to look at a recipe -- say a cake -- then investigate every recipe in the box or MyAllrecipes tab to see if I already made it. No time!

I know it's a pain in the patoot but you can use the search to pull up the recipe if it's in your box. If it's not you can add it and check your review from the recipe box and then delete it. Just a suggestion

I sent them a site suggestion, we'll see if they get back to me on that. Maybe they just forgot to add that functionality back. I hope.

Thank you linda, that will work even if it IS a pain in the patootie :) I just wish they hadn't tried to fix what wasn't broken -- that feature was fine :)

I asked Elizabeth just now on her post if it's something they are trying to change or not.
