Some of you might have seen me mention a work lunch for this month I was working on for 60 employees/bosses. I had mostly worked out what I was going to prepare and they decided to change the game plan. For the better, but I could use some Halloweeny trick or treaty ideas if you have them. Rest inside...>>

Bubble, bubble. Toil and trouble. This appetizer is commonly known and used but, I have put my own little twist on this recipe. It is deviled eggs made to look like the eyeballs of a lizard. It a hit with the kids at my Halloween party.

The office mgr came over today and said the 'gals' wanted to liven things up for Halloween, so they are going to do a pumpkin carving by the employees for customers to vote on and let us 'dress up' for the occasion. Which I think is great, they are all so stuffy LOL. Anyway, they wanted to let the gals do the food and do some Halloween type edibles instead of the usual entree and a side or two with a sheet cake. I had planned to do BBQ beef sandwiches. Think that is still in the plan, and I wanted to do orange spaghetti salad. Any other not too labor intensive ideas? She mentioned maybe cupcakes/cookies/treats instead of cake. And I love to bake, visions of frosting black and orange cupcakes are dancing in my head already. My brain is on overload right now. If you found a good website or have fun ideas, post them for us all for Halloween. Even some side dishes if you can think of how to liven it up. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I make dozens of these each Halloween. They are so cute! My kids expect to be able to take them to school even when I am not the Halloween party mom! I also take some to work and the people who dress up in costumes get one as a prize - they come looking for me to show me their costumes!

Sassy, this is such an old idea, but such a great idea. I made these for my son's kindergarten class. He's now in 4th grade. Might have to try to impress the 4th graders this year. This recipe is so simple & easy. My kind of recipe. Hoping you get some good posts. I need some ideas too!

I'll probably have to hit the morning folks up too. I hate the time zones! They were saying I could do Novembers meeting, I was all geared up to shake em up for Halloween, and I still plan to!

I remember talking about those. It's during the daytime, no such luck. Some day I'm going to have a party at home and do all these things.

You should definitely make this w/o the alcohol! I like the name "Pond Scum" better than Swamp Frog. lol

Tasty little cookie and candy snacks look just like pointy witch hats. They are so easy a kid can help. Little bows made from decorating gel add to their spooky effect.

I'm counting the days. I wish they had an oven at work, but no such luck. They descend on the table like a pack of rabid wolves. I may come in late that day and bring stuff hot from home. We'll see how things shake out.

Yeah, way too painstaking for me. Oh shiny, got distracted I went to look for a recipe and forgot when I got there. I have 34 Halloween recipes in my recipe box folder and never looked at them.
