I am making pork temple cutlets for dinner tonight. I have a couple of recipes that i usually use for them but was wanting to try something new. I have looked on here and googled with no good results. Does anyone have any suggestions that are not posted on here? TIA

They are basically what they sound like Cutlets taken from the temple or head/neck area. They come pound out so they are a 1 1/2 in to 2 in medallion shape. The way I understand it and from what I have seen this cut is indigenous to the area of the US I live in and hard to find anywhere else. If you can find them I highly recommend trying them, unless u bake for too long in no liquid they are always juicy. They make a good pork dish that is very quick to make, their size makes it so they cook relatively quickly, but if in the right liquid and baked or crock potted they can slow cook too.

This absolutely delicious pork tenderloin is prepared simply by first browning in a skillet, and then finishing in the oven. Served with a Marsala cream sauce, prepared while the pork is baking, the dish can be prepared in under an hour. The sauce is tasty over steamed vegetables as well.

I've never heard of that exact cut, maybe try searching just "pork cutlets" The sauce from this recipe is very good...I never have marsala on hand, so I just use white wine.

A wonderfully elegant and easy pork tenderloin dish with a creamy herbed wine sauce. Very rich, without all of the fat and calories! Serve with garlic mashed potatoes. A wonderful dish.
