Hi everybody! Okay, here's my monthly "poker night" question again, with a twist: we're hosting poker on Nov 21st (right before T-day). What are some Thanksgiving-ish recipes I can make into hand-held appetizers? Two of the guys have ginormous appetites, and 3 of the gals are watching our waistlines. And to throw another wrench into the plans, I'm looking for "tidy" recipes that aren't greasy and won't crumble, drip, spray, or otherwise mess up the cards! I know, I know, I'm needy, but I'm hoping y'all can think of things! We don't have to eat over the poker table; some things are best kept in the kitchen. Thanks for your ideas!

Its gotta be pumpkin cheesecake bites and maybe Something on a kabob. Or how about, stuffing in muffin cups with a turkey or chicken type mixture with melted cheese over the top. Oh, I'm on a roll! what about potatoe skins with cranberry sauce and turkey and cheese, you know like a leftovers thanksgiving sandwich?

Turkey Roll-Ups

From Cincinnati, Ohio, Paula Alf shares her most-requested recipe. 'Whether served whole for lunch or cut into bite-size appetizers, these light wraps are always a hit,' she assures. 'We prefer this blend of herbs, but feel free to use any combination you'd like.'

Substitute dried cranberries for the onion and skip the herbs: use just black pepper instead. Fat-free salad dressing will work instead of the mayo. Carrot or celery can add extra crunch.

Definitely second the stuffing in muffin cups idea. And what about deviled eggs? Doesn't everyone have those at Thanksgiving? Or toasted pumpkin seeds are nice and salty-crunchy to go with beer. Apple tartlets or empanadas? And for that matter, what about turkey empanadas? I know these will make it tough for the ladies to graze, but the guys will be happy and the ladies will be fine if they're just tasting and nibbling.
