O...M...G have I missed you all! Our cable/internet/phone have been down. After 2 visits from the tech's, we have all new wiring inside & out. Fingers crossed it works this time. This is probably the 4th or 5th time they've had to come out since we moved in last fall. I'm making this tonight with either mashed or fried potatoes, & green beans. I made colcannon lastnight, because we were actually supposed to have this for dinner lastnight(oops), & didn't care for it at all :( Have a great day!!!!

Old fashioned stick to your ribs chicken and dumplings recipe. The secret is using bone in chicken to make your stock. The bones help flavor the stock and give it richness.

Cranberry Waldorf

Submitted by: THEA
I make this salad all year long, but it is especially great for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Just freeze a few bags of cranberries to use at a later date. I know this will become a tradition to anyone who tries it, it's delicious! Garnish with frosted cranberries and mint leaves, if desired. For frosted cranberries, wet cranberries with water, and roll in sugar.

Hi Bibi, This help. cheers. snow pea = Chinese snow pea = Chinese pea = Chinese pea pod = sugar pea = mange-tout pea = edible-podded pea Equivalents: 2 cups fresh = 6 ounces frozen Notes: You eat these whole, pod and all. They're often stir-fried very briefly (no more than a minute), but they're also good raw. They're easy to prepare, just wash and trim the ends. Some people string them as well, but that's not necessary. Select crisp, flat snow peas that snap when you break them. Substitutes: sugar snaps (rounder, sweeter, and crisper) OR asparagus OR (for stir-fry dishes) bean sprouts

I'm making this to take to the dinner at my Mom's tonight. Many reviewers have cut the sugar, so I think I'll do the same. It's a side dish and/or dessert that will accompany the meal.
