An overnight marinade makes the baked BBQ ribs you get from this recipe succulent.

Good morning Lisa and Peeps. Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Heard somewhere Super Bowl is the number two cooking day of the year, second only to Thanksgiving! Having ribs, sweet potato salad, and my balsamic green beans for the game. Enjoy the commercials!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! The unrecognized national holiday, right?! Commercials are the only reason I watch(unless I'm in a poole, which I'm not this year, darn it). Of course, I rarely stay awake long enough to see the whole thing anyway. The sound of a football game lures me to sleep every time.

This zesty rub will bring out the best in ribs and other meats. Try it on chicken!

Bourbon Whiskey BBQ Sauce

Lots of good stuff go into this terrific sauce: brown sugar, ketchup, liquid smoke, Worcestershire, hot pepper sauce, a few other yummy ingredients and almost one cup of whiskey. The ribs won't know what hit them.

Soak chicken in melted butter overnight, then roll in crushed onion potato chips for an easy dinner with a twist. Try you favorite potato chip flavors for variety.

Good Morning! I have chicken thawed in the fridge so I may try something like this tonight to use up the rest of a bag of chips that's hanging around. We'll also have some steamed mixed veggies. Have a great week everyone!

Late getting back here! Thanks ellie! And lisa, there's also a fish recipe on AR that uses leftover chips. I think it's called Fisherman's Quick Fish. That a good one too.

My MIL uses them on casseroles a lot & gave me the idea to throw them in a ziploc & just add to it when we had a bag of crumbs. I don't think I've ever actually used them but I have good intentions :) lol.

It's important to use good mayonnaise in this recipe, and to let the cooked potatoes chill overnight before making the salad. Vary the seasoning amounts to suit your taste.

Well just going by what's in my freezer, I'd say at some point I will be making (in no particular order) chicken breasts, ham steaks, burgers, pork chops, sausages, and roast chicken. Of course, if I have to go to the store for anything, that list might be added to. I sometimes fear that I have a grocery shopping problem. :)

The classic French onion soup you crave is just like the one from the restaurant, full of beefy broth and topped with a slice of toasted French bread and 2 kinds of cheese. Red wine adds an authentic flavor.

This has all the good stuff - ricotta, mozzarella, eggs and parmesan. Season with salt and pepper and stuff this yummy stuffing into pre-cooked manicotti. Pour on your favorite tomato sauce and bake.
