Good Morning - I'm still boycotting the kitchen for dinner, but I told family if they browned the bacon and the sausage I would fix this for dinner tonight. I am fixing this Pinterest recipe for the girls at lunch today along with Brownie with Skor candy pieces in them. ~~ http://www.fitsugar.com/Recipe-Healthy-Seven-Layer-Salad-11444638 ~~ Excited to try this layered dish with black beans, corn, cornbread, avocado dressing.

Still have a house full of sickies :(! In a Goulash mood. My mom used to make something similar to this but with egg noodles. I'll throw in whatever pasta I have. I don't think I have the elbows. Happy Wednesday All!

Well shoot, didn't get to the chicken and the date on the package is today. Guess it'll get the sniff test before I run some errands. SIL flys in just in time for dinner tonight, for a week! Niece flying in also, don't know when or how long she'll stay. I thought yesterday was long but this will be one long long week (wish me luck!).

Real Homemade Tamales

Submitted by: SADDIECAT
I had been looking for a Tamale recipe for years. One day I went to the international market and stood in the Mexican aisle till a woman with a full cart came by. I just asked her if she knew how to make Tamales. This is her recipe with a few additions from me. This is great served with refried beans and a salad.

Ha! Deb mine looked a little unappetizing because my avocados were a too ripe to be in chunks. Sort of looked like a slime coating on my cucumbers. I love tangy but the first bite I was thinking wow this might be a little too tart. My tastebuds adjusted though and then it was like a touch of spring time.
