Lime Fish Tacos

Submitted by: Tammy Hayden
'The secret to getting my family to eat fish is tucked inside these tempting tacos,' confides Tammy Hayden, Carmichael, California. The tastes and textures in this unusual entree blend in a surprisingly pleasing way. Lime adds a zippy twist to the flaky fillets and the creamy sauce.

This French toast recipe is different because it uses flour. I have given it to some friends and they've all liked it better than the French toast they usually make!

Plan A if I get to the store for mushrooms and a tossed salad. Plan B will be chicken with bottled bbq sauce and a veggie from the freezer.

Elle, hope you have a great day too! Today is all about housework, paperwork and laundry as soon as DH leaves for work. Really didn't count on going anywhere but the day is early! And someone mentioned they had 7 bottles of bbq, I only have two.

LOL! We had dinner at PF Chang's last night, and got mu shu. Lyss was nervous about the mushrooms - but we decided they could "wrap" hers without. Well, when it came, it was a jumble, and she said it would be fine, since she couldn't see them. My manchild pulled out this big piece of "mushroom" out of his, and kinda took another bite - then gave up, the mushrooms were grossing him out. So he passed it to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Then I ate the "mushroom" he'd pulled out - and it was a piece of crunchy red cabbage - LOL!

Mornin', belle. My family LOVED Sherri's sandwich. I used ciabatta buns because I could not find a loaf of focaccia. I did make my slaw up in the morning and we grilled the sandwiches for dinner. Enjoy and bundle up today. High here is 27° - after hitting 62° on Saturday.

Hey Belle, so nice everybody is trying my sammie. Yes I make the slaw up early in the day, just like you would any cole slaw. Flavors marry. I hope you enjoy the sammie. I made them last week with turkey pastrami on Ciabatta rolls, not as great as regular but still very good.

Before you send your little ghouls out the door on Halloween, feed them a warm supper of orange-colored tomato tortilla quesadillas, filled with Cheddar cheese, sweet potatoes, and black beans. You can cook the sweet potatoes in a microwave oven ahead of time.
