Sweet Corn Cake

Corn flour, or masa harina, is available at many larger grocers. Here it blends with corn meal, sugar, butter and cream in this luscious pudding-cake.

Good morning! I AM feeling so much better. Thank you so much for asking & the well wishes. Not sure what I got hit with but glad it's over. Lastnight, my husband had a booster's meeting & my daughter had a late practice so I postponed our jalapeno chicken dinner until tonight. We ended up having cold chicken fajita wraps lastnight & they were so good, I'm having another for lunch today. I used some precooked fajita meat from Sam's Club(found in the meat dept deli cases). REALLY good! Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning Lisa. I'm so glad you are feeling better. I am trying to decide what to make today. I have been deep cleaning the house after we have all been sick on and off for the past month. Last night I just picked up Popeye's chicken. It is so rainy today. I'm thinking soup.

Glad you're feeling better. I'm hoping my queasiness this morning is just from sinus drainage. I haven't missed any work this year and I want to save my days for a mental health break around my daughter's birthday so I can go visit her!

My lovely mom made a big pot of Ham and Beans and brought over a large container. My DH & DS will enjoy that with bread and salad. I'm meeting a friend for dinner tonight at an Italian restaurant. It works perfect for us, as I don't care for ham and beans. I love beans, just not this kind.

This recipe looks good. I have never used dry beans. I recently made a soup recipe with northern beans and ham and it was very good. May have to give this one a go. Thanks.
