Morning Sunshines! Anyone else sick of snow already?! We have about 8 inches here and I think I'm getting too old cause I don't like it! Tonight is Christopher's cousin's Bday party, so pizza it will be. I'm hoping he feels okay to go...still can't shake this darn cold.

DH's cold has taken a good ten days or more to get better. He even felt bad enough to go to the doc but she wouldn't give him anything. Said it was just a cold and to ride it out. Hope your little guy feels better soon!

I was contemplating calling the doctor, but he has no fever and besides being tired, runny nose and a cough, he's acting fine. I'll let it go a few more days and see. Thanks Lucky that made me feel better!

Those colds sure are hanging on this winter! We don't have enough snow yet. I can still see grass poking thru :( Of course, I'm hibernating while the kid's are on break(for the most part). I agree about getting older & not liking it anymore tho! When the kids finish school, I'm more than ready to head somewhere warmer permanently! Hubby would do it now if the kid's didn't pitch a fit whenever he mentions it.

I'm so with you moving somewhere warm. I think my hubby would be all for it too! He hates the snow. But, I guess it's great for the kiddies!

It's cold here in NC but no snow. I hope we do get some. Seems like the summer is worst when you haven't had a very cold winter. That's what I've always heard and I do believe it. This past summer was very humid and I couldn't stay outside too long. It would be 90 degrees by 10 a.m.

I also am over winter already, and it has barely begun, lol...I keep telling everyone that I am moving to San Diego, but they just laugh...they know I could never leave any of them behind. The kids all have colds right now, and Ally's has an ear infection on top of that, so it's been lots of coughing, sneezing, boogies, and medicine around here...anyone want to join the festivities, lol!?

Good morning! I've been longing for fruit, and have way to much marshmallow cream (good intentions....meant to make fudge). So maybe a half-recipe of this.

I know...I always have good intentions, but often don't get things made and/or fall back on items I know will be eaten. I was hoping to make these last week, but didn't get around to it. If I don't make it by Tuesday, I'll wait until DH is home again (most of our visitors will be leaving Tuesday).

Elle, I've made this one and we really liked it a lot. And Molly just made it a couple of nights ago and she said they thought it was awesome. I added cooked broccoli and carrots to mine. Also, the 30 minutes of simmering is totally unnecessary.
