This soul-warming soup is deliciously simple--just chicken and noodles. What makes it so good is the homemade roasted chicken stock.

I made three batches for gifts (and us) but one batch got nearly burnt so we've been using them up in soup. Actually, isn't bad :)

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

This was my aunt's recipe for fudge, passed down through the family. It's better than any fudge I've ever had at the Jersey shore, and easy enough to whip up in 15 minutes or so.

Someone sent fudge to MIL's nusing home and they ran out. She keeps asking for more fudge so I'll make another batch this week.

I've had barbeque in some of the best little places in the Carolina's, and this stuff rules there! Fantastic on pork! Or try brushing some on chicken as it finishes off the grill!

This salad has the perfect coleslaw taste. Very, very creamy with a bit of sweet/tartness stirred in. Everything is stirred into one bowl, and then chilled before serving. Makes six generous servings.

Chocolate and almonds top off a rich buttery toffee. A simple recipe that you could easily remember and whip up any time. I always get compliments and requests for more. Use any type of nut that you like in place of the almonds.

I'm craving something sweet too but can't figure out what. I may try a pie or 2 this week. I've had a boatload of candy & cookies already & it's not fulfilling that need :)
