This twist on an old classic incorporates mushrooms, onions, and bacon into good old-fashion mashed potatoes. Ranch dressing is the secret ingredient.

Gonna give these a try after seeing Naples wonderful photo a couple weeks ago...I've been wanting to try them. Got to take my mom for her 6wk check-up this morning, so will be fighting with the work traffic to downtown Orlando...ugh!

Hi, lisa! I made this a lot when the boys were little. Everyone liked it, and it worked pretty well for leftovers.

Yes! But I'm already re-thinking that. I might make a turkey/broccoli/egg noodle casserole. I need to use up some broccoli.

These are the best French Fries - the sugar solution has something to do with the carbohydrates, but by doing it they don't soak up so much grease, so they get crunchy.

Yum!!! Do you make your own gravy? The jarred kind is pretty yucky to me. I would like to do something similar but never know how to make good gravy without having made a roast.

Will try for this again. The McRib is at McD's right now, I discovered yesterday. Had one for lunch, bought a second for one cent for an easy supper. I'm still trying to sort out what I'm doing for Christmas. DD will be here in the evening, so maybe just chicken noodle soup for supper. Our immediate family celebration will be the 30th; I think we'll just grill then.
