I've got a million things to do today including getting the tree (a little delayed due to hubby's car accident), decorating the tree, getting some shopping down and then my two nieces are coming over to wrap, make pizza and play with little man. Have a beautiful day and make sure to hug and kiss your kids all day!

Bacon for the Family or a Crowd

This is the way to get crisp bacon without having to constantly turn it, watch over it, or get burnt by splatters of grease. It 'fries' up flat and doesn't curl, which looks great beside a breakfast plate of eggs, and makes BLT sandwiches much easier. Very nice when feeding a family or crowd.

Good Morning, Sunshine! That is how I have ALWAYS woke my son up in the morning. Even at 22, I still do! Speaking of our son, no cooking for me today or tomorrow. He will be graduating from Purdue tomorrow morning. We are sooooooo excited and sooooo proud of him. AND, he has a great job lined up, starting in January. And........he took a job here at home. Yippie!!!!!! I really thought he would take the job in Florida. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Made this dough last night to bake up some christmas cookies today. A little worried because the dough was crumbly. Hope it works out. My husband says his mother used to make sour cream Christmas Cookies, so we searched and found this one as she is no longer with us. We opted to not add the nutmeg based on reviews. If it doesn't come out, plan to make another sour cream cookie that does not require overnight refrigeration.
