Sweet and Sour Beans

Four varieties of canned beans are combined with bacon, onion and sweet and sour seasonings in this terrific side dish for any season. Bake in a conventional oven or in a slow cooker.

These are so good! I have not made a review yet. I had some last week and froze the leftovers. I didn't have bacon but they were still tastey. My daughter took a bite and said"better with bacon". Son ate a bowl and said "Good but bacon would have made it more flavorful". Geez!
Dec. 10, 2012 4:47 am
Hope you're doing okay Kori...been thinking about ya! Have a good day today.

I really need to start doing reviews again...giong to make it my New Year's resolution :) We loved these and I haven't made them in quite a while. Good to know about the bacon because I was going to skip it this I won't!

Thanks means a lot to know I have this wonderful bunch of friends that care :) We're hanging in there...still waiting on the report, which is killing my stress level. Good thing is hubby's back is feeling much better.

Just got home last night, now hubs is OOT for three days! At least I can catch up on my jet lag :) Anywho, no major cooking for me until Thursday, so I'll lurk and catch up with ya! New job Savvy???
Dec. 10, 2012 6:08 am
Yes, put your feet up for awhile. That closet clutter isn't going anywhere.
Dec. 10, 2012 6:11 am
Thanks girls! @ Belle, I had two gigs, and this is the one I had left. Not used to working this hard! My old job, the company that was aquired by a new company and cut us, posted our old jobs back! So I applied last week...we will see, I may go back on the road, but I'm going to limit it if I do. Strict orders from the "boss", Jeff likes me home more, can't imagine why, maybe it's my cooking! ;)
Dec. 10, 2012 6:13 am
Aint that the truth Lisa! I tried to find two matching shoes for my trip, took me about 1/2 an hour, it's ugly in there!
Dec. 10, 2012 6:21 am
Oh some new developments! That's exciting! And of course Jeff likes it when you're home more often. I'm sure he def eats better when you're there! And the closet, it can wait. Mine's been waiting for a very long time now!
