Want the satisfaction of fried chicken without all the extra calories of skin and heavy batter? Give this recipe a try for surprisingly juicy boneless, skinless, honey-brined fried chicken breasts.

Good to know, I watched the video on this. I'm not a fryer, but am intregued by the brining, never thought to do that until it became popular for turkey, now chicken, too.

A buttermilk marinade precedes dredging in a spicy flour mixture. Then chicken is fried in shortening and bacon drippings for down home goodness.

Supposed to go to the nursing home to have dinner with FIL, MIL & SIL but just want to stay home and eat a sandwich. Soooooo much to do here and I get tired if I do too much at once. I may have to tell a white lie and not feel well. Surely someone can send me some germs so it's not a fib!

This homemade dough is filled with fresh broccoli, Parmesan, mozzarella, provolone, pepperoni and garlic. It's a robust pizza kind of meal with a fun twist.

MOrning Sunshines! I'm making calzones today with homemade ricotta. I had a total disaster in the kitchen at 9:00 last night...poured half the cheese down the drain and burnt the cookies I was making to stay awake. I'm hoping today goes better :) Have a beautiful day!

I didn't have any luck with the homemade ricotta. Down the drain it went too. Ah well, we tried. :)

Bummer, Kori! Your horoscope today: you will display culinary excellence today. Your cookies will be evenly brown on the bottom, and light and moist inside. Beware of home-made cheeses, there is a tub of riccota waiting for you at the Piggly Wiggly, go grab it!

Blake's Best Steak

Great recipe for grilled steaks that does not require marinating for several hours. Rub the steaks with oil and garlic, salt and pepper to taste, and when the coals are ready, throw the steaks on the grate. Fresh rosemary is placed on top of the meat while grilling.

Good morning! I have a lonely ribeye in the freezer. It should last me two meals over salad. Yum. Or if I"m really hungry tonight, I'll have half of it with a baked potato, salad and a vegetable.

After a wild night marinating in a slightly sweet soy sauce and lemon-lime mixture, sirloin steak chunks are skewered with veggies and grilled. You'll want to make these again and again!
