Pasta Fagioli

A traditional Italian soup. Serve with a crisp salad and a hot loaf of garlic bread and you have a meal! Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.

This is in the freezer-I'm hoping it will be even better re-heated.

I make 3-4 types of soup for DH to take back to work with him. I freeze it in 3-cup salad containers and he thaws it for an easy meal at night. Gives me some variety at home, too, but I use 2-cup containers for me. It's nice to have an easy meal just needing to be reheated when I get home. In the summer, it's salads.

I bought a sack of limes while in Topeka last weekend. Now I have to figure out what to do with them. This, for sure.

I love lime pie! But DH won't be home again until the 15th or so; there would be no one but me to eat it. I might make a small one & freeze. If nothing else, I'll just zest them and juice them and freeze...or maybe some lime curd. I've never made lime curd.

I have everything but the mixed nuts-thought I had them, but it was a can of cashews. I'll split it with my sister so it doesn't get too old.

Making it is much better than the premade. You can add anything you want. I like to add garlic chips, cheese it and pretzel sticks

A hearty combination of beans, corn, tomatoes, and taco seasonings, slow cooked with shredded chicken. Top each bowl with Cheddar cheese, sour cream, and crushed tortilla chips. Made mostly of canned ingredients, this tasty soup lets the slow cooker do the work so you don't have to!
