We ended up using a Groupon lastnight & going to a local burger joint(won't make THAT mistake again-yuk). Tonight will be the stuffed chops, green bean casserole, & leftover 3 cheese au gratins. Have a great day!!

well....I can only tell you that dinner will not be potato soup I planned with the two pounds of roasted potatoes I left cooling on the counter and, of course, forgot. Crud! Back to the drawing board.

Lisa, I bought the Shark Navigator @ 1daysale yesterday. I hope it's good on hardwood. I also just picked up this (amazing) steamer for a super great $48. My floors are smiling. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-203229594/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=hoover+twintank&storeId=10051#.UKIs82t5mSM

Allie, I think you'll be really happy with it, I really love mine. We still have cardboard over most of our bamboo flooring until we get all of the carpet & tile put in but I did run the vacuum over part of it that's exposed(shhh, don't tell hubby) & it picked up everything perfectly.

Thanks Marianne, I don't know about the entire house but perhaps we can eat off the floors! LOL ;)

Chicken Soup With Black Beans and Corn

A chicken soup with a Southwestern flair - this one includes black beans and corn, and is seasoned with cumin, chili powder, and fresh cilantro. Serve with Monterey Jack cheese and fresh lime wedges.

It's supposed to be this, but I think we have too many leftovers to make anything new (esp since this calls for pantry staples and the only special ingredient I bought for it was a $0.05 jalapeno) so it'll probably be leftovers at the LTH house tonight instead. Have a good one, everyone!

probably a good call then. You can always make this & throw it in the freezer for future lazy nights. NOT that any of us have any of those ;)

It 's franks-and-beans ...minus the beans! Slow-cooked brown sugar and bacon give these dogs a sweet and filling flavor.

These burgers use veal for tender, non-greasy burgers that taste like they're from a bistro! You will be amazed at how easy and tasty they are; perfect for a special cookout.

Smoked Sausage and Red Beans

Submitted by: Syndi Davis
Good ole red beans and rice with lots of smoked sausage. I put lots of garlic in it which makes it tasty. I take it to my bingo crowd and they love it! Normally I don't measure, so I decided to write it down while I was making it. This is medium on the heat but make it hot as you like!

Making a version of this since I seem to have a collection of red beans in my cabinet. Cutting the recipe in half though because my crockpot is not that big! Happy Tuesday All!

Morning Sunshines! It's the hubby's birthday so we're going to bake a cake this morning, so dinner has to be easy and fast. This because of all the talk of mac and cheese along with tuna grinders. Have a beautiful day!
