This elegant dish of salmon filets poached in lemon juice and chicken bouillon, then topped with butter and capers, is a great way to impress your significant other. Serve over cooked fettuccine or on its own with steamed vegetables and rice.

Chili dogs, sloppy joes, baked beans, & chips. 1 night we're getting take-out(they have awesome wet burritos), & I have lasagna in the freezer so that w/garlic bread. New kitchen is being delivered Monday!! Fingers crossed it goes in smoothly! Have a great week!!

This is down home recipe includes a terrific buttermilk marinade. The longer the chicken marinates, the better the chicken turns out!

Home, couldn't leave, FIL has had 2 falls this week, 1 trip to the hospital. It is the pits when you are the only family here. Haven't had a vacation for over 2 years. But for a few hours Magnolia Blossom and LadySparkle had me in a very happy place! Wonderful to meet them both!

This hearty pinto bean dish uses smoked ham hock to add flavor and richness. A bit of tomato sauce and brown sugar gives this meal a little zing.

Looks like some great menu plans. I'll have to work on the rest of the week Monday. We missed some birthdays while we were on vacation so I'm throwing a BBQ today for my Mom, brother and son. They've requested my DH's famous ribs and I'll make my baked beans and Cheesy Pasta, and Baking Nana's coleslaw. Hope everyone has a great Sunday. Probably rain here again.
