Cheddar cheese and parsley add to the color and taste of these flavorful patties. My neighbor tried them and has been passing around the recipe ever since!

Mmmmmm, mac & cheese! It rained here, too, and I thought it was cooler/less humid when I walked out the door. That lasted until about 1/4 mile into my run when I realized it was wishful thinking. Our living room did drop 7 degrees overnight to a balmy 79, though....

We got some much needed rain yesterday also. More expected today. We're still way below normal so I hope we get it, but I hope the storms aren't severe. Scares me!

Good morning everyone. We were teased with thunder and some lightening with rain everywhere around us. Finally got some but not nearly enough. Hoping to get more rain today!

Good morning! I have a little spaghetti sauce leftover from yesterday, so, I plan to grill the chicken instead of baking. Hopefully I can do it all on the grill. Just lay down foil. Having green beans and slaw for the sides. Have a great day!

Hahaha, LTH, as soon as I saw this I thought 'how come I've never seen this before...I must try it' lol. I just happened to have like a 1/2 of a baguette, so... Molly, the amounts seem off, IMO, so I'd play w/ it a bit. I just eyeballed everything, but it was good!

Christina, did you actually *dunk* the bread in all that butter. Not sure I could do that. Too much butter?

Thanks Christina - That is what I will do, especially since I won't be making an entire loaf. I've never used herbs de Provence, so I will have to sub. Is that a spice I should invest in?

Christina
Jul. 19, 2012 5:27 am
No belle, I just toasted the one side of the bread, flipped it over and spooned the mixture on the other side, then broiled until done. Molly, I have no idea what herbes de Provence is, lol, so I just subbed a bit of Italian seasoning (not sure how similar they are, but it worked, lol).

Saved - this sounds fabulous. BTW if you are looking for the herbs, I got my herbs de Provence at Home Goods, or TJ Maxx or one of those and is good quality and wasn't expensive.

We really like this one and it's great to use up red bell peppers before they go bad! It's a great last minute recipe that uses staples (as long as you have red bell peppers :) ). I'm looking forward to trying the Hot Ponderosa, too, but not until we have company so I don't eat it all!!!

These black bean and corn quesadillas are really cheesy, a little bit spicy, and a little bit sweet. My vegetarian husband goes crazy over these every time! Feel free to play around and add chicken or veggies, if you desire. Don't forget the salsa and sour cream!

Thanks Lucky! Our unit is 10 years old and this is the 2nd motor we've had to replace this summer. First was the motor on the furnace fan that *delivers* the cooled air and yesterday it was the motor on the air conditioner's compressor. Still, it could have been worse.
