I think I will make this tonight to go with our chicken. I will have to make DH & DS with feta and I will make mine with bleu cheese.

Hahaha, LTH, as soon as I saw this I thought 'how come I've never seen this before...I must try it' lol. I just happened to have like a 1/2 of a baguette, so... Molly, the amounts seem off, IMO, so I'd play w/ it a bit. I just eyeballed everything, but it was good!

Christina, did you actually *dunk* the bread in all that butter. Not sure I could do that. Too much butter?

Thanks Christina - That is what I will do, especially since I won't be making an entire loaf. I've never used herbs de Provence, so I will have to sub. Is that a spice I should invest in?

No belle, I just toasted the one side of the bread, flipped it over and spooned the mixture on the other side, then broiled until done. Molly, I have no idea what herbes de Provence is, lol, so I just subbed a bit of Italian seasoning (not sure how similar they are, but it worked, lol).

Christina, that sounds much better to me. May have to try these this weekend. And I don't have herbes de Provence either, lol!

Saved - this sounds fabulous. BTW if you are looking for the herbs, I got my herbs de Provence at Home Goods, or TJ Maxx or one of those and is good quality and wasn't expensive.
