queso fresco
[ KAY-soh FRAY-skoh ]
A white, slightly salty, fresh Mexican cheese with a texture similar to that of
FARMER CHEESE. Queso fresco is available in cottage cheese-style tubs in Latin markets and many supermarkets. Also called queso blanco.
