harusame
[ hah-roo-SAH-meh ]
Translating as "spring rain," harusame are Japanese noodles made from soybean, rice or potato flour. They're available in Asian markets and many supermarkets. Harusame are also called
CELLOPHANE NOODLES and Japanese vermicelli.
