chiles rellenos
[ CHEE-lehs rreh-YEH-nohs ]
Literally translated as "stuffed peppers," this Mexican specialty consists of cheese-stuffed mild green chiles, cloaked with an egg batter and fried until the outside is crisp and the cheese inside is melted. See also:
