East of the Cascade mountains lies the sunny and parched side of the state where the days are warm and the nights are cool--near perfect conditions for creating "balanced" wines.
Located on the wet western side of the Cascade Mountain Range, Puget Sound is home to several cool weather loving, lesser known grapes like Madeleine Angevine, Siegerebbe and crisp Muller-Thurgau. Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris are also planted here.
