using soften cream cheese (fat free) is an alternative to yellow cheese also add can fat free cream of chicken or mushroom soup to veggies. either of the alternatives or great.

A vegetarian can not use chicken soup.

Quite often tinned soups, including the vegetable ones have a meat product of some sort in it - cheese, or stock or it may even say that it may have traces of fish or shrimp. Thanks for recipes. My daughter is turning her nose up to meat (yippee for me - dad and son's a devout meat eater) and I find it quite hard try and think of 2 meals to cook for the same occasion. Where if it was just me I would be quite content with the side plate of veggies. Vegetarians are definately born

This dish is delicious! I didn't use the cheddar cheese and it was still yummy...I just used a little grated Locatelli on the top. This is one I will definitely use over and over again!
