Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) didn't get off to a good start with her new job. She began her surgical internship living in the shadow of her surgical legend of a mother, she unknowingly got involved with one of her bosses the night before her first day at Seattle Grace Hospital, and was promptly assigned to study under a surgeon referred to as "The Nazi." And that was just within the first 24 hours. And she's just one of many characters. Talk about your TV medical McDrama.
