For such a smart guy, Alan Shore (James Spader) seems to be extremely unfamiliar with the concepts of honesty and integrity. A spin-off of ABC's The Practice, this law drama focuses on civil law and the anything but civil tendencies of Spader's off-the-wall character. But that's what makes this show so much fun--that and the fact William Shatner and Candice Bergen are back on the small screen.
