Being Irsh born, I would just like to add that the Guinness shown in the video is the"Draft" tasting type and is NOT the best for Corned Beef. Instead, look for the regular bottle of guinness(no carbonation), a world of difference to the taste.

Famed Irish boiled supper?????? I'm Irish and this is not an Irish dish, an authentic Irish dish is Bacon&Cabbage. Also Guinness is not a beer??? it is a stout!!!

The recipe is a good one, except the video is a bit amateurish with Anna flipping and tossing her hair around. Quite unappetizing and unprofessional.

Hey I am Irish, from Cork and this is not an Irish dish!!! We do not EVER use corned beef like this. The only time I've ever eaten corned beef was in a sandwich. The real thing is bacon and cabbage(usually a piece of back bacon). So just pouring some guinness over a piece of randon meat doesnt make it a traditional Irish dish! It's a bit insulting really. Other than that I really like this website though.

I'm with imyeti! Hair nets would REALLY be appreciated, at the very least, and if none are available, for heavens sake, STOP flipping your head around & put your hair in a pony tail. Also, how did the bay leaf appear on the top of the dish when cooking was finished, as it started out UNDER the veggies! Keep it real folks.
