Lots of wonderful recipies but they don't have the sodium listed at the end with the fat and cholesteral...Essential for some restricted diets, although I usually cut the salt in half or right out if I can...

The best chocolate recipe on this website is the recipe for "Chocolate Cakes with Liquid Centers". I am sure these are great recipes, but nothing will ever compare to that one.

This was....interesting-_- It tasted like flour and did'nt have anything unique taste about it...And I know I did it right I made it again and it tasted the same. I made it for my son's birthday and he was so dissapointed about it. He did'nt talk to me for his whole birthday! I felt like I let him down! So after I made a Betty Crocker cake and it was fabulous! Try to be more like her if you please:) thank you for your convience:) Make your cakes taste decent pleace! -lolgirl

Although I love getting emails with recipe idea's I would like to see more recipe's that actually bake things from scratch. The majority of the recipe's are 'take one package of *whatever*, mix one package of *whatever*. What happened to REAL baking with the basic ingredients???

I wish the carb content was included in your recipes. As an insulin dependent diabetic, I can eat some of these sweets (in moderation of course) but I need to know the carb count so that I can adjust my insulin! I've also noted that the car count is not in any of the recipes on AllRecipes which is a real shame since so many people are diabetic and count on knowing the carbs they consume.

Connie Lynn, Most of these recipes also allow you to select Detailed Nutritional information, it does take longer to get there, but it does list the sodium there. I agree, sometimes I see recipes listed without the sodium or the Sugars listed. This could pose a problem for people on special diets for heart and diabetes.

I have made the White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake twice now, with great reviews from my family. It is delicious and decadent and makes a really nice presentation if you do the white chocolate shavings on top and serve the extra raspberry sauce on the side. Yummy!

I am either just stupid or incapable but looking at a video about lava cakes is all well and good but for the life of me getting the recipe is not clear. Not intuitive, not obvious and it makes me HATE the videos because there is no obvious way to just have the recipe. I have to watch to the video without sound so there is no help there. Please could you include links to the recipes where it is clearly visible and available without watching the video?

There are several recipe sites online. This one suits my needs best. Others have different info listed. Try and find the one that suits your needs. Please don't try to change this one

@Lyn and @Barbaraochs - I agree that AllRecipes needs to be a better job of linking to the recipes shown in their videos. In the lava cake video, it says to find the recipe at FoodWishes.com. Here is the link: http://foodwishes.blogspot.com/2009/02/chocolate-lave-cake-20-return-of-molten.html

I totally agree with Big Tony! And for those requesting specific recipes, did you even try typing what you want in the search bar? Is it really that hard, people? Goodness!

As for the woman whose son wouldn't speak to her for his whole birthday because he didn't like the cake?? Sorry, but both of them need to be a bit more realistic and mature about this. Honestly - perhaps he needs to visit a soup kitchen or homeless shelter and see children who have absolutely NOTHING. Such a visit might make him more appreciative of his mother's efforts.

I couldn't agree more with you, bookwoman. You said exactly what needed to be said. God bless you!

These recipes are submitted by individuals! I would imagine that if you have concerns about 'how much salt, exchanges, carbs or even 'kisses' a certain recipe will garner', health care professional, weight watchers, insurance companies etc. can supply ANY and ALL information to you so that you can do the calculations yourself! (Chocolate = Kisses!!)

Another tip on buying chocolate - look for the fair trade varieties - it is harvested ethically, where other cocoa products often are harvested using slave and child labour - good for the taste and the soul!

Merry Meet Everyone, Years ago (1980's)The Olive Garden used to serve a 7 chocolate pie that was absolutely wonderful. Thick, dark chocolate with chocolate chunks through it. Does anyone remember this or have a similar recipe?

@lolgirl seriously? your son was angry his cake wasn't up to his standards for his birthday? I wouldn't feel bad about the cake, I would feel bad my kid is so spoiled. Bookwoman is right. take him to a soup kitchen or introduce him to kids who dont get birthday cakes, or anything for that matter.
