Just like the ones I used to know ...

Shh, the Movie's Starting!

This 1954 classic Irving Berlin musical stars Bing Crosby (as Bob Wallace) and Danny Kaye (as Phil Davis), two World War II U.S. army buddies who become a successful song-and-dance team after the war. Their success leads them into the arms of Betty and Judy, a sister act (played by Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen), looking for their big break.

When Betty and Judy are booked into a Vermont inn for a winter show, Wallace and Davis follow in the hopes of romance. When they get there, not only is there no snow, but the guys learn the owner of the inn--their beloved former commander General Wallace--is about to go bankrupt from lack of business.

A series of mishaps, duets, dances, comedic mix-ups, and romance ensues as the duos work to help the General.
