Movie Menus: "When Harry Met Sally"

By:   Mackenzie Schieck

Settle in for an evening with the movie that begged the question: can men and women really be friends?

We've pulled together some recipes to enjoy with this classic comedy--plus a few dishes that will work nicely--a la Sally's preference--"on the side."

Shh, the Movie's Starting!

Having recently ended a long-term relationship, Sally runs into Harry 10 years after they first met when they drove together from Chicago to New York. Harry is also coming to the end of a relationship--a marriage of approximately five years to be precise. They compare breakup notes over lunch and start to become--gulp--friends. Who knows? Maybe they will be the exception to Harry's rule. Well, they're going to give it a shot at least, as Harry deems Sally the first attractive woman he's known who he hasn't wanted to sleep with. "That’s wonderful, Harry," Sally says in congratulations. Will this be the beginning of a beautiful friendship? Could be.
