Small town good guy George Bailey (James Stewart) wants to conquer the world but life keeps getting in the way. Instead of living large he's barely scraping by as he tries to keep the family's Building and Loan out of the clutches of the evil Mr. Potter.

When Uncle Billy accidentally misplaces $8000 and financial ruin drives George to the brink of suicide on a snowy Christmas Eve, his guardian angel Clarence is sent to show him what life would be like if he hadn't been around to touch the lives of the folks in Bedford Falls. Will the town give back to the guy who's sacrificed so much for them? Will Clarence earn his wings? Tune in.
