Wow.... a lot of purple onion, might as well eat one! and can anyone say portion control? And remember, if you add the eggs cheese and bacon she showed you its no longer "low calorie"..... yup, nothing like oily raw onions to make your picnic a hit (note my sarcasm).

Sounds delicious. I could see some seasonal green beans as part of this.

i really like the sounds of this, i like raw onions, but i would consider slicing them to half the size they were on this vid. just so it doesn't dominate the potatoes. other than that, sounds delish!

Would rather have a text version of the potato salad (instead of a video) please advise.

If I fixed that for a picnic, they would say,"what kind of potato salad is that".Especially if its not the color yellow (mayo, egg yoke, etc). If they dont eat it, more for me. Looks good and I will add the eggs, bacon, and cheese. However, I would still have to make the "yellow color" potato salad because in New Orleans, some of us eat the "yellow color" potato salad with our gumbo..... cant add becon, eggs and cheese to gumbo.
