Aw, I like Cori she's so personable. One question! If you don't have a grill, what can be done to get the carmelized effect? Throw it in the oven? Stick it in a pan? And for how long?

Never, Never par boil ribs, just cook them a little longer on the grill. Par boiling ribs destroys the flavor of the meat, brings out the flavor of the bone into the meat. Yuk!!! I'm still looking for the BBQ sauce recipe, it sounded like it might be good

I really love this site, but it actually pained me to see ribs mistreated so. If you enjoy ribs prepared that way, ok. I really recommend you try ribs prepared by a true pitmaster. Slow smoked ribs, with just enough pull to keep em on the bone, but will come away clean. That is a peice of heaven. I judge Championship BBQ, so I will admit Im a bit of a snob. The sauce recipe did sound interesting and I'm gonna try that.

OutBack steak house pressure cooks baby back ribs. When ordered, there removed from the cooler and placed on the grill. Not bad, but I prefere the smoker.

The recipe for the BBQ sauce in the 2nd link below the video. I generally make my ribs in a slow cooker, but my daughter refuses to eat anything that comes out of one. I was looking for a different method.

Miss Audrey-- I asked the same question, but if you check the link above for "Amazing Ribs," this provides the written instructions, including the parboil time. I believe the sauce she uses is the very next link, "Bourbon Whiskey BBQ Sauce."

Is this the best they came up with ? I cringe with the idea of A) cutting the ribs, B) Par-boiling the ribs, and C) putting on BBQ sauce while grilling. Seems to me this is not used to smoking ribs. I guess for some people this might work but for a lot of us, it doesn't work. I guess she hasn't heard of the Low and Slow method on the grill.
