This is a great recipe for simple gravy that is delicious.

That's a very good recipe and the video is wonderful for novices to see the process. I like to add that I also instead of alot of broth or water for liquid I use the water from boiling potatoes and carrots and turnip and it gives wonderful flavor to the gravy

I give this video a D on the degreasing step. Those fat separator cups are completely bogus!! Either you leave too much fat behind, or you lose precious turkey juices in the attempt to pour off the fat. The most effective, convenient, and easiest way to degrease pan drippings is the zip-lock bag methos, which I demonstrate in a short video at http://www.adoctorskitchen.com/archives/degreasing-liquids . With this method, you can reduce the total fat, saturated fat, calories, and cholesterol in your gravy WITH NO LOSS OF FLAVOR. Sound too good to be true? It isn't. Happy Thanksgiving!
