I make these all the time. I use a basic bread receipe. 3 cups flour, 1 cup milk, butter, yeast, salt. heat the milk to 110 add to mixer, add yeast and sugar 2 tbsp and let the yeast proof for 5 mins. add butter, add four, knead with mixer till it forms a ball, add salt knead for 13 mins. let dough proof for 15 mins, then roll out and follow the video. yum yum

You do not have to make your own dough. Just buy frozen bread in your supermarket's frozen food section. Thaw it out, then roll. It's as easy as that. Some frozen breads are better than others. I use Rhoades (sp?) brand. Hope this helps! Merry Christmas!!

Background music it too loud! It would be better to see the rolls in the pan after they've doublebed in size.

I've been baking with yeast for the holidays and have had great success. Before starting to make a recipe using yeast, I turn my oven on to 200 degrees so the kitchen gets warm. I mix the yeast base and set the bowl on the counter next to my oven. Then when I have the dough ready for the first rising I also cover the bowl and set it on the counter next to the oven. The warmth of the oven has made making with yeast a pleasure. Oh, and I also bought a candy themonator so that I made sure the liquids were exactly the right temperature before adding the yeast. Merry Christmas and happy baking.

I also use a basic sweet dough recipe and make it in the bread machine. I lower the amount of flour by about 2/3 cup and add 2/3 cups of oats. Rolling it up was always my problem. Thanks for the video
